PHYSICAL LOCATIONS

 

DUTIES AND IMPORT TAXES (GENERAL)

Unless otherwise specified, Lunar Artefacts is not responsible for any additional international or local taxes, import duties, or customs charges. These fees vary depending on the destination country, and we encourage customers to check local regulations before placing an order.

If a package incurs duties and taxes upon arrival, the recipient may be required to pay these fees before the shipment is released. Lunar Artefacts does not have control over these charges or any customs-related delays.

If a customer refuses to pay import duties or taxes, the goods will be returned to us at the customer's expense. In such cases, we will issue a refund for the value of the goods only, minus the return shipping costs and any initial shipping fees.

DUTIES & IMPORT TAXES | USA

Lunar Artefacts ships to the United States on both a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) and Delivered At Place (DAP) basis, depending on the value of the order:

  • Orders above USD $150 are shipped on a DDP basis, meaning all import duties, tariffs, and taxes are included in your final purchase price. No additional charges will be collected from you upon delivery.

  • Orders below USD $150 are shipped on a DAP basis, meaning import duties, tariffs, and taxes (if applicable) will be the responsibility of the customer and must be paid directly to the carrier before delivery.

Failure to settle the applicable duties and taxes may result in the shipment being returned to us or, in some cases, destroyed by customs authorities. In the event of a return, any duties, taxes, or handling charges incurred by Lunar Artefacts will be deducted from your refund. If the goods are destroyed or do not reach us, we will be unable to process a refund.

While our headquarters are in the United Kingdom, we dispatch US orders from multiple global fulfilment centres. Regardless of the shipping origin, all duties and taxes are fully covered by Lunar Artefacts.

DUTIES AND IMPORT TAXES - EU

Orders delivered to European Union countries may be subject to local VAT and import duties, which typically range from 1% to 25% depending on location. These costs are determined by local regulations and are not included at checkout.

Lunar Artefacts operates multiple dispatch centres worldwide, but we do not guarantee that shipments to the EU will originate from the UK. All EU orders are shipped from locations outside the European Union. If any import duties apply, you may be required to settle them before receiving your order.

DISPATCH & PRODUCTION

We aim to dispatch most orders within two business days of purchase, and within three business days for shipments fulfilled by Amazon. However, certain products require additional processing time:

  • Orders with personalisation or engraving require 3 to 5 business days for processing.
  • Bespoke orders follow a production timeline agreed upon at the time of purchase.
  • Replacement parts or standalone components ordered via our website may take 10 to 14 business days for dispatch.

Lunar Artefacts operates through multiple dispatch centres worldwide to serve customers efficiently. Our main fulfilment operations run Monday to Friday, excluding national holidays in the United Kingdom.

An email notification will be sent once your order has been dispatched.

 

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Lunar Artefacts ships to over 150 countries worldwide. If your country is not listed at checkout, please contact Customer Support to discuss possible delivery arrangements.

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout and collected with the purchase. While we aim to deliver orders within 14 business days, shipping times may vary. Estimated delivery times for major regions are:

  • United States: 3 to 5 business days
  • United Kingdom: up to 3 business days
  • Europe: up to 5 business days
  • Asia: up to 5 business days
  • Middle East: up to 5 business days
  • Australia & Rest of the World: up to 8 business days

You may provide a residential or office address for delivery, but we do not ship to military addresses, restricted zones, collection points, or PO boxes. If the carrier deems it secure, your parcel may be left with a neighbour. If no safe delivery location is found, the parcel may be returned to us.

It is the customer's responsibility to track their package. If your order is marked as delivered but has not been received, you must contact us within 5 business days so we can initiate an investigation. Failure to report a missing package within this period may result in limited resolution options.

 

FAILED DELIVERIES & REFUSED SHIPMENTS

If a delivery is unsuccessful due to an incorrect address, multiple failed attempts, or refusal to pay import duties, the package may be returned to us or, depending on local regulations, destroyed.

If the order is returned to us, we reserve the right to deduct return shipping fees and any import taxes incurred before issuing a refund.

If an order is destroyed by customs due to non-payment of duties or refusal of delivery, no refund will be issued.

 

PARCELS DAMAGED OR LOST IN TRANSIT

Customers should inspect their package upon delivery. If any damage or issues are found on the product, please note them on the delivery receipt and inform Customer Support within 5 business days.

For lost, delayed, or damaged shipments, customers must report the issue within 5 business days from the confirmed delivery date. Claims submitted after this period may not be eligible for resolution.

 

PRE-ORDERED ITEMS

Pre-ordered items may take up to 30 days for dispatch. If your order includes both regular and pre-order items, they will typically ship together unless you request separate shipments.

If you request a split shipment, additional shipping fees may apply. Once pre-order items are ready, we will send a shipment confirmation email.

 

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Customers are responsible for the return shipping costs to our return centre in London, United Kingdom. For further details, please refer to our Returns & Warranty Policy.

 

ORDER CANCELLATION

If you wish to cancel an order, please contact Customer Support as soon as possible. We will do our best to process your request, but if your order has already entered the final preparation stages or has been dispatched, cancellation may no longer be possible.

Lunar Artefacts reserves the right to cancel or delay orders due to stock shortages or other exceptional circumstances. While we make every effort to fulfil all orders, there may be instances where we need to cancel an order even after confirmation.
